Mariposa Changemakers Auxillary
Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF) has created the Mariposa auxillary to give strength and financial support to the organization and it's programs by holding an annual event. Mariposas will have first access to purchasing VIP tables at the annual event or any fundraising events held for ATPF during the year. A Mariposa is an advocate for ATPF awareness and children and programs in our community. A Mariposa affects change and helps ATPF programs take flight.
Founded in 2003, ATPF is a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to improving communities in San Diego County by assisting with education, advocacy, screening and mentoring for families impacted by autism. An average total of 2,000 youth are screened annually with 8,352 preschoolers screened since 2006. ATPF's Youth Education and Developmental Services coordinates a variety of intensive programs designed to engage youth with autism in a variety of services, aimed at improving their confidence and behaviors, plus improving their social support.
The commitment to join Mariposa Changemakers is 12 months. From the date you join membership dues will be $100. A member has a year to raise $1000 towards the Foundation's operational costs. ATPF needs $300,000 annually to not only sustain it's current operations and programs but bring on much needed staff.
