We are incredibly thankful to the San Jose State University Spartans for partnering with ATPF in 2013 to launch the ATPF-SJSU Football Player Mentor Program! Their passion and commitment to these children's lives has led us to nearly 100% participation from the entire football team of over 95 football players. It is common for families with autism to feel isolated from the community. This program is a life-line to these children & families with autism because it creates a lasting family and community for them.

Coach Ron Caragher, former head football coach at the University of San Diego, is the current head coach at San Jose State University, the same campus where Dr. Jean Novak, Director of ATPF Early Intervention Research, teaches and trains her students. Dr. Novak & Coach Caragher are excited to implement the same winning program that pairs USD Football Players with ATPF families since 2009.
