This is a new player mentor program with the USD Torero Baseball Team. Players are paired with ATPF kids and become "big brothers" to our children and families. It is common for families with autism to feel isolated from the San Diego community. This program is a life-line to these children & families with autism because it creates a lasting family community for them. The Toreros regularly host Autism Tree Project Foundation kids at their games, where the kids get to cheer on their player during the game and get to throw and catch baseballs with the players post game. Over 100 children and families have already participated in this new program!
More than 100 Autism Tree Project Foundation families served to date!
