Girls in STEM Program

Our mission with the Autism Tree Girls in STEM Program is to teach girls with autism about STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The goal of this program is to enable girls to explore the field of STEM in a friendly and low-pressure environment, build teamwork skills, and inspire them to pursue opportunities in the field of STEM! We aim to improve their confidence, behaviors, and social communications.

This program is currently led by Autism Tree Volunteer Program Director Conchi Gordillovillar and is offered over zoom! Through this program, girls can explore coding, robotics, math projects, engineering, and more. Since 2016, this program has served 40 Autism Tree Girls to date.
