For Volunteers & Interns

We are always looking for volunteers and interns to help with our mission.

The Autism Tree relies upon the dedicated service of its volunteers and interns to provide 20 community programs and 200+ events every year. We are extremely grateful for their support and are always looking to bring on new volunteers and interns, developing the next generation of community leaders!

Volunteers and Interns at Autism Tree...what's the difference?

Volunteers primarily help facilitate all of our in-person, virtual, and special events during weekends or weeknights, build meaningful social connections to our children and families while at the events, and capture Autism Tree's impact in the community. Their participation is crucial in creating a positive, fun and comfortable environment for our children and families during our events. We accept volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and experiences.

Interns, who are primarily students in middle school, high school or college, volunteer each week in the day-to-day operations of Autism Tree and help facilitate program events. In addition to typical volunteer duties, they often take on leadership roles at events, provide direct support to our leadership team and overall act as representatives of Autism Tree in the community.

We accept applications on a rolling basis for all internships.  Click here to learn more and apply.
