SAVE THE DATE NOW: ATPF IGNITE EVERY CHILD LUNCHEON APRIL 2016
Our current focus is the ATPF IGNITE EVERY CHILD Movement which believes that "Every Child Deserves a Brighter Future" through our Early Intervention Preschool Screening Program. The ATPF IGNITE EVERY CHILD Movement is about creating access to all children, regardless of income, language or family status. Early intervention services for children are vital to their health and development and reduce costs by minimizing the need for special education and related services in later years.
Today, fewer than 1 in 3 children in California receive the pediatrician-recommended screenings they need to identify possible developmental delays.
ATPF's Early Intervention Preschool Screenings are the first step toward diagnosis and treatment of early autism. Providing intensive Early Intervention therapy during these critical years leads to maximized outcomes of kindergarten readiness. ATPF is looking for passionate community partners to help us IGNITE EVERY CHILD by expanding our program to provide free Early Intervention Preschool Screenings to all San Diego County 10,300 Head Start Preschoolers annually with the ultimate goal of kindergarten readiness for every child.
