Launched in 2020, the Adaptive Art Program was founded virtually by Autism Tree volunteer Alexa Zaino and later expanded to in-person workshops in partnership with the National Charity League San Diego.
The program offers monthly art workshops for families, providing affordable and accessible creative experiences for children with autism. These workshops are designed to offer sensory stimulation, encourage social interaction and communication, improve motor skills, and — most importantly — create a fun, welcoming space for children to express themselves through art!
