Food, Farming, & Nutrition Program

Launched in June 2016, the Autism Tree Food, Farming & Nutrition Program connects children and families to local farms and healthy food sources through a partnership with Wild Willow Farm, a local nonprofit.

The program creates hands-on opportunities for families to engage with San Diego’s farming community, learn how food is grown, explore principles of proper nutrition, and discover how to prepare fresh, locally produced meals. It’s an interactive, educational experience designed to promote healthy habits and deepen connections to the food we eat.

Since 2016, this program has served 476 children and over 250 families to date.
