This is a new player mentor program with the Point Loma Nazarene University's Men's Soccer Team. Players are paired with ATPF kids one-on-one for fun soccer activity days and pizza parties in the Spring and Fall. It is common for families with autism to feel isolated from the San Diego community. This program is a life-line to these children & families with autism because it creates a lasting family community for them. The Sea Lions occasionally host Autism Tree Project Foundation kids at their games, where the kids get to cheer on the players during the game and get to kick and pass soccer balls with the players post game. Over 100 children and families have already participated in this new program!
