It is common for families with autism to feel isolated from the San Diego community. This program is a life-line to these children and families with autism because it creates a lasting family community for them.
The Sea Lions occasionally host Autism Tree Project Foundation kids at their games, where the kids get to cheer on the players during the game and get to kick and pass soccer balls with the players post game. Since 2017, this program has served over 100 children and families to date!
