Virtual Book Club Program

The Autism Tree Virtual Book Club was launched in 2020 and has since spoken to five authors:

• New York Times Best-Selling Author Janelle Brown
• International Best-Selling Author Angie Kim
• Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Anthony Doerr
• National Best-Selling Historical Novelist, Art Historian, and Author Laura Morelli, Ph.D.
• New York Times Best-Selling Author David Baldacci

Founded and led by Autism Tree Volunteer Danielle Levy with Co-Host Otto Lana, the Virtual Book Club encourages members to read, emphasizing inclusion and welcoming people who use all mediums of communication.

The Virtual Book Club allows neurodiverse, multi-modality communicators and unreliably speaking individuals the opportunity to hone their communication skills beyond their wants and needs to. It allows them to find a path to the richness of friendships and human connectedness through literacy.
